The employment will start with a trial period of 6 months. During this trial period, a doctor is offered an initial annual base salary of minimum NOK 520 000. If a doctor is able and willing to participate more in the service plan and on-call schedule of the department, the salary will increase in accordance with the general praxis used by the employing hospital for doctors currently employed by the hospital. With the base salary stipulated above, and a service plan of approximately the same scope as that of the doctors at the employing department, an annual gross salary of about NOK 750 000 - 850 000 can be expected.
