• Determine whether whiskered and Brandt’s bats have similar foraging ecologies and behave as predicted by their ecomorphology. This will be achieved by comparing: the diet, habitat use and morphology of the two species. • Critically, test whether identification according to published morphological criteria (e.g. tooth size/shape, penis shape) correspond with identification based on gene sequencing.
