The Salmon Library provides a retrieval service for research materials located at the Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC). The ILL department borrows items from the nearest lenders first. If materials are at RSIC, the Library Courier retrieves the material locally. The Interlibrary Loan Request Form serves as the request form for all off-campus requested items including those items that may be at RSIC. For general searching information, the WorldCat database can be used to identify some materials at RSIC. On the search form in WorldCat, limit availability selection to Library Code: MWF. It is not necessary to identify RSIC materials; the ILL Department will select RSIC as a lender in all appropriate cases. All BOOKS borrowed for UAH patrons from RSIC will be borrowed as an Interlibrary Loan item unless the patron is a RSIC cardholder registered through Research Security and Administration (RSA) VBRH E-20 at Von Braun Research Hall.
