People in the Western Hemisphere saw a Rust colored moon in the early sky February 21st 2008. It was caused by the total lunar eclipse, they say was the only one for this year! This happens when the alignment of the Moon, Earth and sun happen. Because of the positions the Earth between a Full Moon and the Sun, the moon is in the shadow however the suns rays reaching the moon through the Earth Atmosphere has this effect as the light reaches it!
