What is the song “hey there delila” about??
Personally, the writer/vocalist, Tom, met this girl named Delilah, who was an Olympist and he was friends with her, although he wanted to be more, because she had a boyfriend. He wrote this song, wondering what it’d be like if he went further with her. The lyrics show a relationship of two lovers that are separated by distance. One is a musician, and one is in college. The musician makes this song to show that although they could be a thousand miles away, he’ll always love her and one day, she’ll get out of college and this song would make history, and they’ll have their dreams fulfilled.
