What is the Specific Agreement on Financing (CFE for its initials in Spanish)?
The CFE foresees a financing for the “Capacity Building Project of the Mexico-European Union Free Trade Agreement” (PROTLCUEM) of 16 million euros for the duration of such agreement, which lasts 72 months starting on the date that both parts signed it. Each party contributed with 8 millions euros to the agreement, out of which the contribution of the EU is not to be refundable (excepting non-eligible expenses) and whose financing compromise is due on October 30th, 2010.
