What is the state of the restrooms in China?
Restrooms in China are not up to Western standards, although they are rapidly improving. In major cities and hotels, Western toilets are commonplace, but in public restrooms, railroad stations, and some airports, only squat toilets are available. It may be convenient to bring along a small amount of toilet paper for areas where hygiene conditions are sub par.
