What is the state policy for recycling plastic bottles?
You might want to add some specifics to your question. Which state? In my state it varies from county to county for some things, except for carbonated beverage bottles. The state I live in all carbonated beverage bottles, plastic or cans, require a deposit. When the bottles are returned for recycling, we get our deposit back. In the county I live in the only plastic bottles that can be turned in for recycling are bottles with the numbers 1 or 2 on the bottom. I’m not sure about the rest of the state as far as other plastic bottles are concerned.
