What is the Structure of Dyna Camp?
Campers are assigned to cabins before their arrival based on information provided by their parents/caregivers on application.Our staff to camper ration is usually 1:3 and never exceeds 1:4. One on one is available as needed and requested. Our staff complete an intensive one-week training session before the camping season begins. During this training, staff is certified in basic first aid, CPR, and is trained in personal care skills along with specific personal and group dynamics training. Before Tradition campers arrive, all staff complete a one-day in-service specifically designed for Camp Shawnee.
