The SunGate winshield has tiny metal particles in it to prevent the sun from beating down into the car and onto the dashboard as much. You can tell if you have the SunGate by checking for “Sungate Shaded Solar Ray” on the lower passengers side of the window. It was RPO A23 in 1995 and 1996, so you can also check the SPID label on the underside of the decklid to be sure.
