What is The Tech Spot @ ResNet and why are some services available at a charge?
The Tech Spot @ ResNet is Kent State’s new full-service computer repair center. It is a service within ResNet that handles more advanced problems like Virus/Spyware Removal, Data Backup and Recovery and Hardware Maintenance. Charges for these services go toward labor costs and our authorized warranty service. An infected computer may take more than 10 hours to clean of viruses and spyware, so the cost is very reasonable. Remember that The Tech Spot does not charge any more than $50 (plus tax) per visit for our services.
