There is a two-year compulsion to build. Please keep in mind that, if you purchase a home site and need to re-sell it, the clock will continue to tick for the new purchaser of your site. If you do not begin building on your home site at the end of the two-year period; the developer has the contractual right to purchase it back from you at 90% of the original purchase price, less closing costs.
