What is the timeframe to submit a requested safety assessment to the CBC Audit Unit?
The requested safety assessment should be submitted once the agency, sponsoring agency, provider of services or registered provider has determined that they will retain the individual, notwithstanding the pending arrest. The agency, sponsoring agency, provider of services or registered provider must keep the safety assessment on file for one year. If the safety assessment imposes sanctions that go beyond one year, the safety assessment must be kept until the sanctions expire.
