I am an Hondureno, and typical foods of Honduras, are of course beans rice, and tortillas. We eat plantains, from unripe, to fully matured. We eat yuca, etc. Here is some food names that we have: plato tipico( carne asada etc, with beans ,rice, a salad, fried plantains,cream and crumbled cheese, served with tortillas) tamales( we wrap ours in a banana leaf, and stuff it with meat, bell peppers, rice, potatos, peas, an olive and sauce. platano frito( fried ripe plantains) tajadas ( plantain chips) tacos( corn tortilla that is fried and rolled up with meat inside of it) enchilada( a fried corn tortilla, piled with seasoned ground beef and potatos, chismol, cabbage or lettuce, and a tomato salsa and cream) chismol ( honduran version of pico de gallo) pastelitos( fried turnovers, that have been stuffed with meat or cheese) pupusas( a stuffed up tortilla) yuca con chicharron( fried yuca mixed with pork meat, and served with a curtido or lettuce, and tomato salsa pinchos( shish kabobs…
