What is the usual cost for such services?
There is a wide range of fees charged by different doctors in a retainer-based practice. It can be as low as $1,000 for an adult, or as high as $20,000 a year for an adult in some areas of the country. Most doctors charge between $1,000 and $2,000 per adult per year. Children are often charged a lesser amount, and some doctors give discounts for larger households. Dr. Ward charges a flat fee for all participants – currently at $1050 annually (or $290 if paid quarterly).
