The airport exit tax from Isla Margarita through the INTERNATIONAL terminal (not local flights) is BsF.230 or US$54 at the official exchange rate & much less at the parallel rate. A minimal airport tax is also charged for national flights – BsF.27,50 as of Feb., 2010. In Caracas the airport exit tax is BsF.230 for International flights & BsF.27,50 for national flights.
