What is the voltage drop between the center stud (alternator terminal) and the battery terminals?

Q: According to the wiring diagram the battery to the “S” must be connected to the primary terminal (yellow wire). My alternator does not have an “S” terminal. In this case disregard this part of the installation instruction.
