The Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery is a visionary public-private partnership that is creating two world-class biomedical research institutes. The public institute, the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, is part of UW–Madison organized under its Graduate School. The private institute, the Morgridge Institute for Research, is an independent 501(c)3 medical research organization dedicated to improving human health by accelerating scientific discovery to patient delivery. The Town Center is a public space that encompasses the main floor of the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery facility. It is designed to welcome all with food, interactive displays, ongoing activities, hands-on learning labs, events and meeting spaces.
