What is the worst place you have been to or lived in Britain?

The worst place I have ever lived is in North London, on the border between Tottenham and Wood Green. - You basically fear for your life if you step outside after dark. Absolutely all of my friends have been mugged, beaten up, followed home, etc, all whilst minding their own business. (I live in South East London now and even thought it has a worse reputation, the only way to get in trouble is to go looking for it.) - It's full of beggars, who always used to specifically target me which I believed was because I was the only white person in the whole area. - Most of the housing are infested with mice and rats - as it's all terraced housing, if you put down traps or poison but your neighbours don't then it's obviously not going to get rid of them. Likewise there are ten billion stray cats. - The cinema is completely infested with mice and rats - if you are brave enough to go then you have to put your feet up on the seats. - You hear police sirens going on all night - when I finally ...  more
