What is the worst thing you ever did as a teenager?
I’m 24 now and when i was a teenager I did all of the above! Ran away from home at 15, slept around, did drugs, wagged school, dropped out of school, stole, was down at the cop shop every other day. Geez I could go on forever! But because I had a good up bringing (i got mixed in the wrong crowd) I always knew deep down I was better than all that crap. Got clean at 20 and am now engaged with an amazing life. I may have been a terror but if it wasn’t for the bad years I wouldn’t appreciate my family and what they went through as much as I do now… I was the worst of them. Mum used to cry herself to sleep at night just waiting for the hospital to call to say I’d overdosed. They are a beautiful family and I’m blessed for thier forgivness! So i guess I was the ‘bad teenager’ you speak of!
Maybe your mother means you were a difficult teenager because of yours and her attitude???? Difficult teenager and Bad teenager are two different things. Parents always think differently to their kids. My parents say that my brother was a very difficult teenager. But we all know he was a good kid and never really got involved in anything bad. I was a bit the opposite though I was never really difficult for my parents but i did get involved in some bad stuff. Yet my parents really only remember the hours they spent arguing with my brother and all my indescretions have been forgotten 🙂 Make your mum stop saying you were horrible! Because you obviously were a pretty normal teen maybe even a little more well behaved then most.
