Depends on what you are looking for. You can go camping in either the mountains or near the shore, or you can rent a cabin in a campground. I’m from South Jersey so I have the ocean about 10 minutes away. Some beach spots are Long Beach Island, Atlantic City, Seaside, Wildwood. Then there is Six Flags amusement park in I think New Egypt, you can easily spend a day there. You can go into Liberty state park and go over to the statue of Liberty, or Ellis Island. Then there is Cape May also.
