What is this file “bebop.log” that gets created in my current working directory?
That file contains debug output which may or may not be useful to you. You can set the level of verbosity of debug output using the environment variable BEBOP_DEBUG_LEVEL. If you set it to 0, no debug output will be produced. Increasingly higher integer values result in increasingly more debug output.
