Tourism Whistler’s role in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games is to maximize the tourism opportunities associated with the Games as well as to ensure a positive visitor experience at Games time. I have heard there is no where to live in Whistler, is that true? The decision to make Whistler your home is usually easy however, finding a home may be the tough part. Similar to many resort towns, it can be a challenge but certainly not impossible. Finding a place to live is easier between April and September when the Resort is a little quieter. While Tourism Whistler does not offer employee housing, we are confident that as more resident-restricted housing becomes available for purchase through the Whistler Housing Authority, the housing situation will improve.
