What is Tropical Traditions doing to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina?
Several ministries in the disaster area have contacted Tropical Traditions for help. During the first few days after the storm, Tropical Traditions sent all the non-perishable organic food items from one of their warehouses to a ministry in Louisiana, which is providing food and supplies to many refugees in their area, and is also supplying needs in Texas. We sent them over 300 cases of organic non-perishable food, the same top quality food that you can buy on this website. Very soon after that one of our clients near Baton Rouge contacted us about another ministry, Streams of Life, which has been ministering to the needs of the poor in their area for several years, working together with other local churches. Many of these local churches are now housing refugees in their buildings, and looking to Streams of Life to supply them with food and supplies.
