As a CU we are not alone! There are hundreds of CUs across England, Scotland and Wales who share similar vision and values to CICCU. All are networked together in a ‘family’ of CUs called UCCF (the ‘Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship’). Check out the UCCF website. How did UCCF come about? Around 80 years ago, CUs had been started by students in a number of universities across the UK - in places like Cambridge, Oxford, Bristol, Durham, Manchester and London. These CUs decided to come together, to support and resource each other. This network was originally called IVF (the ‘Inter-Varsity Fellowship’) - named after the Oxford vs. Cambridge rugby match that took place in London on the same weekend that it was formed. Since those early days God has worked through CUs to bring thousands of students to know Christ. If you want to find out more check out http://www.uccf.org.uk/about-us/our-story.htm.
