What is worth visiting in and around Alanya?
There is a lot to see and to do. There are three museums (Alanya Museum, Ataturk House and the Red Tower), two natural dripping stone caves (Damlatas and Dim Cave) and you should not miss out on the castle and its amazing views. During the summer it is nice to cool off in one of the restaurants along the Dimcay River. Outside Alanya you can find the well preserved Aspendos Theatre, several waterfalls, archaeological sites and of course the impressive Taurus Mountains.
