What Is Written Discovery?
Each attorney may serve Written Discovery on the other party. This may require written answers to questions, the production of documents (including such things as diaries, email, and postings on social networks) for inspection and copying, the admission that certain facts are true or false, and the inspection of real or personal property. Drafting and serving Written Discovery will take attorney time. Each party will spend many hours preparing responses and going over the responses with her attorney.
