What is wrong with my ds lite?
The DS lite is known for problems like this. You may have broken it on accident from tapping or something else. The DS lite has had many reports of being broken easily. I personally have preferred the classic DS over the lite due to it being more durable. If you only bought it within the past year, your warranty should cover it and let you get a new one if you still have the receipt.
