What is your preferred analogy of organizational decision making and planing process?
I believe it is very similar to whiskey making. It is a distillation process with basic ingredients and a master brewer who, through years of experiential tradecraft can brew consistent masterpieces. Like whiskey, the decision crafted in a haphazardly constructed still with less than optimal ingredients or by a novice distiller will have disasterous effects.
