WHAT KEEPS A PERSON FROM VOTING TWICE BY GOING TO DIFFERENT POLLING PLACES?
Each Polling Place is equipped with an electronic poll book which is connected in real time to each other Polling Place through a secure, dedicated network. When a voter casts a vote at one polling place, his/her voter history is immediately updated at every other polling place in Douglas County. If he/she attempts to vote at another polling place, the electronic poll book will inform the election judge there that the person has already voted.
