What kind of ethnic cuisine is popular in Auckland restaurants?
Auckland is THE multicultural core of New Zealand. There are things I could eat in restaruants there, that I have had trouble finding in the actual native countries. I was living downtown in Auckland, and we would have something different every night. Most usually Korean and Japanese though. For special occasions we would head upto Sawadee on Ponsonby Road, Yum char at Sunshine for lunch. Depending on what style of Japanese and Korean food we wanted would depend where we went. Drunken nights usually ended in Kebabs. Vietnamese for something light… the list is endless! If you need some recommendations, message me. However I havent been there for a year.
