What kind of extra-curricular activities take place in relation to the Medieval MA/PhD?
A. Students enrolled in the Medieval cluster have one of the most exciting and lively extra-curricular programmes. The cluster places a great deal of importance on developing a strong graduate culture among its postgraduate students in order to form new relationships and stimulate academic discussion. This is facilitated by regular ‘Medieval Cultures’ seminars in which both post grads and faculty, as well as speakers from around the U.K. and often further afield, are invited to give papers in a slightly less formal atmosphere, followed by questions and discussion before retiring to one of Belfast’s many fine bars and/ or pizzerias!
