What kind of paint is used on Kakadu products?
The difference between a high-grade and a low-grade paint is the proportion of its solids (the actual pigment) to its liquid (the binding medium). The higher the proportion of solids to liquid, the more pigment the paint has-and the longer it will retain its vibrancy. At Kakadu, we special-mix our own paints to ensure that they contain a high ratio of pigment to binder. This means our colors stay bright and true for a very long time, without becoming faded or chalky-looking.
