What kind of public involvement will be conducted during the 90 days?
People are encouraged to review the Draft SEIS to better understand how the preferred alternative improves protection of old forests, watersheds, wildlife habitat and communities. To help with this, forest supervisors and staff on the Sierra Nevada forests will be briefing elected officials, individuals and organizations in nearby communities. Some forests may host meetings or field trips to demonstrate the proposed improvements.
