What kind of specialized equipment does a miniature horse need?

It is always a good idea to have some kind of transportation available for your horse 24/7. For a mini, it could be a one horse trailer, or a two horse stock trailer. Just in case you need to get the horse to the vet, and the vet can’t come to you. (It’s happened to me before…not fun!) And I’ve been learning about natural disasters in my veterinary science class at school, and I’m scared to be without a trailer now! But I’ve seen a mini riding in the back of a pickup truck before. It was an emergency (barn fire), the trailers were occupied by other horses, and they were going about 20 miles per hour, with a person riding in the back of the truck with the horse. It was interesting, lol. But anyways, back to your question. =] I don’t think you are planning on riding the mini…if you are, you should reconsider. But I have no idea how tall or heavy you are, so I won’t say anything more about it. =] You could drive the mini, then you would need a mini harness, which is available at Count
