What kind of taxes does the owner pay for possessing realty in Bulgaria?
An annual property tax and collection of garbage tax, which are local taxes, payable to the Municipality, on which territory the property is located. The amounts are different for each Municipality. The rate of property tax is 0.0015% over the tax evaluation and each Municipality Tax Authority prepares the tax evaluation in the beginning of the year and informs the owners by post about the due taxes. The sums should be paid within the course of the current year.
