What kind of “unique” features will Epic Frontiers have?
Since Epic Frontiers is still in development, we cannot reveal all of the features that we are developing (though you can get a good idea from our development blogs). However, some of the things that we can talk about is the free-form character development where advancement is not based on class or level, which do not exist in the game. Instead, you advance your character by using the skills that he/she has learned, creating the kind of character you want to be by actually doing what that kind of character does. Additionally, we have a fairly unique NPC Conversation system where you can interact with NPCs by talking with them in order to gain information, a better reputation, haggle a price, or maybe just see what they might have to say about things going on in the world. Obviously, this requires a bit more AI than has been in the heads of NPCs up to now, so you should expect a little more in that arena as well…
