What kinds of books will Quintin Publications publish free of charge to the author?
Generally, books that fall into this category are books that have high sales appeal: e.g. how-to, reference, one-name genealogies; lists of marriages, baptisms, burials, census records and the like. For books that fall into this category we will bear the entire cost of book production, warehousing, and distribution. This is done under our basic author’s contract which provides for the following: • Quintin Publications will produce the book (CD) in a timely and professional manner • Quintin Publications will pay the author a Level 3 royalty for each book sold. • All payments are in US funds and are distributed quarterly in April, July, October and January. • Author receives 5 free copies of each book and is allowed to purchase additional copies at our normal wholesale price.
