What kinds of foods are bad for dogs besides chocolate?
There are many foods that are toxic to dogs. Here is a list of foods to avoid giving your dog: Chocolate Onions Garlic Raisins Grapes Chewing gum Mushrooms Nuts-Macadamia nuts, Walnuts, Pecans, Almonds, etc.. Small amounts of peanut butter are ok. Tea Tomatoes Alcohol Avocado Rhubarb Baby food(May contain onion powder) Milk Food bones Fat trimmings from meat Persimmons Raw eggs Milk Large amounts of liver These foods can cause various problems, some of them severe if a dog eats them. Your dog can experience upset stomach, vomiting, lethargy, seizures, organ failure, coma and even death. If your dog has eaten something toxic and you are noticing that your dog is not acting normal, then you need to take your dog to a vet as soon as possible. They can give medications and IV fluids to help flush out the toxins from your dog’s system. Best of luck. Hope I helped.
