What Language Do People In Switzerland Speak?
German, French, Italian and Romansch, in descending order of population. And many people speak English, as well. Almost everyone must know German, as that is the OFFICIAL language, at least while they are in school, but my one-time roommate from Lausanne told me that once she was done with public school, she promptly forgot it all.
