What language was the Ten Commandments written in?

0

They were written in the language of the Israelites, ancient Hebrew. The stone tablets (carved out by Moses) upon which the ten commandments were written (by God) were stored in a wooden chest, called the Ark of the Covenant, which held a place of prominence in the mobile tabernacle, and later, the holy temple in Jerusalem. The last recorded location of the of the Ark was the temple, prior to its destruction. The Bible is silent as to what happened to the Ark and its contents, but we can presume that it was either hidden before the temple was destroyed, or that it was destroyed along with the temple (But if it were destroyed, it’s surprising that the Bible doesn’t mention that fact.
