Thermistors are available in point match and interchangeable varieties. Point match can be as tight as 1% or higher, depending upon the material curve and R25 value. A typical interchangeability is ± 2°C over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. However, a number of configurations are available with regard to tolerance and temperature range. RTD’s are classified by DIN specifications. DIN Class B is the most common, with a tolerance of ± 0.3°C at 0°C. Class A is also available upon request.
