What logging methods are available with the VDS?
VDS supports many different levels of logging. Any operation on the directory is recorded in the change log (this can be enabled or disabled). A VDS connector can be installed to notify any applications of a change event. VDS logs its events using the Log4J format. Many reporting/monitoring tools on the market leverage this format. (one example is Chainsaw: http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/chainsaw.html).
