What makes the C5 program special? Why should I support C5 instead of another youth development program?
There are two things that set us apart from most youth development agencies. The first is the long-term commitment we make to the youth who participate in our five year program and the second is the intentional nature of the program. We work with our youth from the summer after they complete 7th grade until they graduate from high school, providing support and stability during those critical years as a young person moves through adolescence. And everything we do is designed to help our youth achieve the outcomes we’ve outlined for them. While there are a lot of youth development programs that do good work, there are few fully integrated models – and none that can be taken to scale – supporting youth with comprehensive developmental opportunities from middle school through high school.
