What makes the Gemstone Blue Diamond sound best in class?
After reading “What makes a particular amp sound different than others” in the above section you should have concluded that a lot of variables go into why an amp sounds the way it does. We selected the Class A – AB design methodology because it is what many of the ultimate sounding home theater amps do. Our research concluded that the other design approaches sound anywhere from fair to great but we wanted best in class sound. The multi-channel amplifiers to sound as good as or beat include the Balanced Audio Technology, Bryston, Simaudio, Class’e, Theta, Krell, and Plinius. All of these used class A and or AB and they all do a good to great job in stereo listening.
