Sara's patented design. There is no binding rubber cord. For years, hosiery manufacturers have been dropping in a rubber cord to hold the product up on your body. Sara found this was not necessary and took it out, adding an incredibly soft yarn and sewed the waistband right into the panty for added comfort. Another ingenious feature is that while most manufacturers use the same size waistband for all items, Spanx has different sized waistbands to ensure a perfect fit!
