What medications can affect conception/implantation?
As I understand it, penecillin-based antibiotics have no effect; tetracycline-based ones or synthetic ones do. Valium and valium-type meds are some of the WORST you can take in the first trimester. You can take: Tylenol, Benadryl, and some other OTC medications like Tums just fine. You may want to google “paracetamol and pregnancy”, or ask your doctor or pharmacist specifically about it. I’d also say that it’s important to take care of YOURSELF — better to try again next cycle than risk your health or (God forbid!) risk a miscarriage — I’ve been through one, and they are devastating!
