Well, one unlucky German tourist named Axel Sanz-Claus (or, in a rough translation, Axel without Claus) couldn’t just look away because he allegedly choked on a used a tampon that was in his steak. Or at least that’s what he told ABC’s Eyewitness News. And no, it’s not like he was eating at some dingy truck stop or shady restaurant where these types of things are common occurrences, he was eating at The Bull and Bear Steak House at the Waldorf-Astoria! But this isn’t all bad news for Sanz-Claus because he could have been chewing on a used tampon of one of the hotel’s esteemed guests. It may have been a celebrity tampon! Look, it is very possible that this occurred because something was lost in translation.
