Your doctor presecribes you to inject certain dosage of insulin at certain intervals depending on the level of sugar in the blood. This is sacrosanct. If you take higher dosage of insulin, the patient could go into hypoglycemic stage whereby the blood sugar falls below the the level required by the body to function normally. The patient could go into convulsions and may make movements with this mouth and tongue as if he/she wants food or something to eat. This is nature’s way of asking for sugar. If not given immediately, it could prove fatal. HENCE. DIABETICS SHOULD ALWAYS CARRY A SMALL PACKET OF SUGARY CANDY OR THE LIKES That CAN BE TAKEN IN AN EMERGENCY. Do not forget to carry your diabetic card.

Hope this helps
