All contracts should be listed in “Contractual.” If there is a consultant or individual working with the applicant, they can be listed in “Other.” Sometimes there is a fine line between the two. With a Subcontract there is a significant contribution of work towards the program outcome and deliverables are provided. A Consultant has a contract with an agency to get paid but does not contribute significantly, as in nothing material. Consultants provide information or advice that is supportive in nature as to what the grantee is going to do and how.
